Leon Historical Society Presents- Vintage Tweets

The Leon Historical Society is proud to host Carol Crossed, President and Founder of the Susan B. Anthony Birthplace Museum, for a special event honoring women’s suffrage. During this commemoration, Crossed will showcase a unique collection of century-old suffrage postcards, featured in her 2019 book, Vintage Tweets.

Her presentation will highlight the most influential postcards of the era—focusing on suffrage, abolition, and temperance—while offering a deep dive into the lives and styles of the artists who shaped these historic movements.
